The Detective Division of the Weston Police Department is the investigative section
of the department consisting of an inspector, police prosecutor, and community services

incident that requires follow-up investigation.
The day to day activities of these officers include processing crime scenes, combining
fingerprint analysis and the use of crime scene photography, interviewing witnesses,
interrogating suspects, bringing evidence to the crime lab for analysis.
The Detectives also work closely with other law enforcement agencies including the DEA,
INS, State Police and other departments surrounding our community participating in monthly
meetings to exchange information. This Division specializes in Domestic Violence cases,
Juvenile Investigations, Civil rights Violations, and all crimes in relation to the elderly.
Their commitment does not end with the arrest of a suspect but requires them to
successfully work with the District and Superior Court to further ensure that a case is
presented in a professional and successful conclusion.
